Keynote Address 
San Francisco Area JCC

More than 300 employees of a major California JCC were brought together for a half-day training session with the goal of developing a security mindset and learning fundamental skills to keep their community safer and more secure.

Retained Chief Security Counsel
San Diego Synagogue

An extended engagement at large synagogue to urgently address vulnerabilities in the wake of a tragic shooting at the nearby Chabad of Poway. Efforts included the formation and development of a volunteer security corps., a range of target-hardening initiatives and significant efforts to strengthen community safety and awareness.

Overnight Camp

A large overnight camp serving the Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan areas faced some unique challenges. In close partnership with their leadership team, risks were prioritized and addressed.

Twin Cities JCCs 

Nearly 10-year engagement supporting a multi-campus Jewish Community Center and the various institutions within it, including day schools, special needs programs, Early Childhood programs, fitness centers, summer camps and other groups. Established a sought-after model for security in the region.

Security Leadership Training & Incident Command System Plan 
Southern California Jewish Foundation

Organizational leadership and staff members at an large international foundation received training on a range of security topics and disciplines, including Situation Awareness, Behavior-Based Suspicious Indicators, De-Escalations, Social Engineering & Phishing, Active Shooter Response, Shelter-in-Place and Evacuations. Separately, the organization's first-ever Incident Command (ICS) Framework was established for the leadership team, with plans to conduct a half-day crisis exercise to test the team's ability to respond to a large-scale catastrophe. 

Volunteer Security Training
San Diego Megachurch

A neighboring synagogue's trained volunteer security corps. became a sought-after model across the region's interfaith community. Working with the pastor, more than 50 members of his parish were trained to form their own church security volunteer corps.

Vulnerability Assessment & Community Training
San Diego Synagogue & Early Childhood Center

One of the largest synagogues in San Diego county sought expertise to identify and remediate a high volume of security risks across a large, multi-use campus. Target hardening efforts were supplemented by customized, immersive series of trainings for teachers, staff and the member population at large.

Threat Assessment & Staff Training
San Diego Summer Camp

A summer camp located in a large public park with multiple entry and exit points sought to understand and mitigate its vulnerabilities to the greatest extent possible without being heavy-handed. Coupled with new protective measures around the site, the entire staff received training on key security and emergency management disciplines.

Senior leaders at a very large summer camp in San Diego received training in a number of areas designed to improve their ability to respond to various emergencies. The program included a range of functional, scenario-based activities designed to increase crisis management skills, build muscle memory and think on their feet in an emergency.
